Dashcat docs
Dashcat lets your AI agents check, fix and update the Windows, Mac and Linux machines you look after. Install Dashcat on each machine, connect your AI app once, then ask in plain words: “why is reception-pc slow?”, “update every Pi in the office”.

The parts
Section titled “The parts”| What it is | |
|---|---|
| Node | A machine your AI can work on: a PC, a Mac, a server, a Raspberry Pi. (Nothing to do with Node.js.) |
| Dashcat Agent | The small program that makes a machine a node. It idles at about 5 MB of memory and writes down everything it does. |
| Dashcat connector | One address, https://app.dashcat.ai/mcp, that you add to your AI app. Your AI reaches every node in your account through it, from the web, a desktop or a phone. |
| Dashcat | The app for your own computer: Dashcat Dashboard in a window, with Dashcat Agent and Dashcat Bridge inside. |
| Dashcat Dashboard | Your account at app.dashcat.ai: add nodes, see which are online, see what your AI did, choose which AI apps reach which nodes. |
| Direct mode | For high-security setups: your AI connects to nodes through Dashcat Bridge on your own machine, end to end encrypted, with Dashcat’s cloud out of the path. |
